Hello Hapi People!
I know we have been all about shopping and supplies for this week, but today's topic is the most important thing you need for school. Today we are talking about how to thrive in life; not just survive but be successful. Are you ready?
You are still reading, so I assume you're ready for the challenge. The challenge is...
Are you willing to see things differently?
Are you willing to change from survive to thrive mentality and accept that you will be successful? I can't tell you how many school years I have dreaded and gone into school with the attitude, "I just need to survive this year". I am sure many you have had this attitude or know someone that has thought this way. It is such a negative outlook on school and ourselves. How do you overcome this way of thinking? You need to ask yourself the above question: Are you willing to see things differently? You already have the ability to succeed if you are willing to change your mind set to positivity and if you are willing to work hard. It is so easy to give up, to not try, or to get lost in the difficulty of things. However, the only way you can be successful is if you chose to be.
Close your eyes for a moment and visualize yourself in the difficult situation you are dreading. This doesn't just apply to school, it can be anything in your life. Now imagine yourself being triumphant. Imagine handling the situation in the manner you need to in order to succeed. Does that include learning to study better, learning to communicate better, or maybe planning better? The only way you can change your attitude and actions is if you believe you can do it. So, are you willing to see things differently? Let's thrive this year and accept the challenges of life. I know that life can be overwhelming and seemingly impossible sometimes. However, if we choose to see ourselves overcoming life's obstacles, we can take things a step at a time towards attaining our goals.
I hope that you have a wonderful school year. I also hope that whatever obstacles you are facing in life, that you are willing to take today's challenge. Share with us what you are struggling with and how you see yourself overcoming.
Stay Hapi,
Amy
